Yes, I have a hot spot very close to there on my forward foot with those boots and bindings, but after a lot of fussing with it, I can’t be sure that’s the cause (because for me, it’s close to that spot, but not exactly that spot). If I carefully sequence the tightening of the boot and straps I can minimize the pressure point without the boot/binding feeling “too loose,” but I still find the pressure point as confusing as it is annoying. It seems that no matter what style of boot binding set up you choose, there will be a pro and con and maybe some tinkering to be done.
